Defconn and Hyung Dong hyungs- the main host for Weekly Idol program have invited Super Junior members to promote their new album and single 'Black Suit'. The two mat-hyungs started singing the army song which is the main theme song for all soldiers in the camp. They marched in humming the tune embarrassing the rest of SuJu. One by one members Donghae, Eunhyuk, Yesung, Shindong, Lee Teuk and Hee Chul introduced themselves.
Defconn and Hyungdon reckoned their introduction is not in the trend now. It's too old fashioned with saying 'We are Super Junior- o-yeh yo'....it's too dull. They played some photos and videos of the most recent idols introducing themselves and entertaining the fans. The shock look on the members seeing Kang Daniel holding soft toys by fans, Park Ji Hoon doing the 'jeo-jang' trademark and EXO members wearing flower garlands on their head and shooting water bubbles. Hee Chul cringed saying he can't do such aegyo thing because it's too corny. The staff prepared all flower headgear and 6 big teddies. Donghae just shook his head and laughed out. He started off by his name and jeo-jang which cringed him up. He vent his anger on the bear and threw the garland...LOL! Next was Eunhyuk who did his funny thing with the teddy but ended up in embarrassment. Yesung was cute in his intro and the rest just shook their heads. Shindong was the best as he ran around happily with his teddy bear while Hyungdon reckoned he looked like a Japanese sushi chef with the garland on his forehead!
Lee Teuk tried his best but his face and neck went so red in embarrassment when he tried copying Ji Hoon's 'jeo-jang' trademark. Eunhyuk was lost at words when he sees Hee chul doing out of the unbelievable things. Six grown up men with teddies and weird aegyo when two just came out from army after 3 months- it's too difficult to do such things. Hyungdon asked he hasn't seen Donghae since the last 6 years to which he admitted he hardly appears in variety so Leeteuk said they better make hay while the sunshine. Donghae is more laid back and Eunhyuk isn't as funny anymore. Shindong gets tired easily asking when will it end and if he can sit. Heechul pointed out Eunhyuk hosted some programs and it went to a flop- Oppa Thinking and Come out to Play. He might be the bad luck person and to shut down Weekly Idol as well!
The basement was rather chaotic as Leeteuk was an attention stealer trying to host the program, Heechul cringing in embarrassment seeing his members doing their own thing, Eunhyuk trying to shut down the roller shutters, Donghae walking away and asking for water...etc. The intro hasn't even started with the guys to promote their new single Black Suit.
They admitted the group members are only half...two youngest members are still in the army- Ryeo Wook and Kyuhun. During the conversation, Donghae just stood there in daze and when Hyungdon asked him- he went blank and said where did they stop? Yesung looked as if he was forced to come out for the program. LOL!
Main highlight of Weekly Idol is random play dance. Previously Leeteuk, Ryeo wook, Kyuhun and Eunhyuk were around to random play dance whereby they failed miserably. This time it's to test the six members to their dance hits. First song was Black Suit proven successful as they had no problem in the choreography. Then came Bonamana, Sexy Free and Single was a test to them...they couldn't remember much. Spy was even worst where Shindong told them to pass!
Mr. Simple was a bit messy...Sorry Sorry was still good as they could execute it properly.
Miracle, Twins and other older songs were still good reminder for them! Don-don was messy as Eun Hyuk and Leeteuk forgotten the moves. Punishment came where they were struggling too...the older generation idols were not flexible as they were in their twenties. Hah!
Show Me the Card game is where each member will have to do their best in the game. Lee Teuk's card was first where he insisted a game of flipping the feather on the angel wings. Shindong started off first but didn't do too well. Yesung was furiously flapping the wings. Donghae did his best and considered one of the coolest slapstick comedy. Eunhyuk is worried however he raged his anger at the angel wings flipping out the most feathers. He wins the game so he will get a nice airport outfit bought via Leeteuk's credit card.
But we loved them to bits... Super Junior started off with crazy and all over the place... however they are still one of the biggest Hallyu boy bands who did so well in awards and programs. Two members Han Kyung and Ki Bum have officially left the group- still they were much loved by their ELF fans.
They are the seniors in the entertainment industry now and even role models for the rookie idols who are dancing to their songs and imitating their moves. "Sorry Sorry" is still proven as one of the most popular K-pop songs wherever it was played.
We look forward to their come-back and good luck to their new album!
