31st October- it's Halloween day but it's also the important day for Song-song Couple.
All smiles were at the Shilla Hotel for the famous Song-Song couple wedding of the year.
The wedding ceremony was only open for close family and friends. Actor Song Joong Ki was dressed in a black neat suit looking dashing as usual. As for the bride, Song Hae Gyo, all eyes were on her. However I personally find her wedding gown was very simple and plain.
The veil flows nicely on her head however somehow the gown was a let down. I even wonder if it's branded and didn't look any nicer than other star couple's wedding gown. In fact the ceremonies that she has attended- the white off shoulder glittering dress was nicer than her wedding day dress.
Couple's parents were present with A-list glittering stars attending the wedding. Among present were singer Ok Joo Hyun singing for the ceremony, actor Yoo Ah In, Lee Kwang Soo, Park Bo Gum, Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Jong Kook, 2PM's Junho, Kim Hee Sun, So Ji Sub, Hwang Jung Min and Chinese actress Zhang Zi Yi.
The rest of the Running Man team were not present at the wedding as some of them attended the funeral wake of late actor Kim Joo Hyuk who passed away on 30th October. Most of the 1 Night 2 Days crew were present at the wake.
There was plenty of smiles at the wedding ceremony but tons of tears in the funeral wake at Seoul Asan Hospital for Kim who died after a car accident. Among present for the wake were actors Choi Min Sik, Kwon Sang Woo, Yoon Jun Sang, Ha Jung Woo, Lee Byung Hun, Song Kang Ho, Ryu Jin, Son Hyun Joo, actress Son Ye Jin, Kim Sung Ryung, Kim Ji Soo, Han Ji Min, Han Hyo Joo, singer Defconn, celebrity chef Hong Suk Chun RM casts- Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin and Song Ji Hyo, Lee Hwi Jae, gag woman Kim Sook, Lee Gyung Gyu.
Many poured in their condolences for the much loved actor who has a warm personality.
There was a first autopsy in the hospital revealing the late actor sustained from head injuries and died at the spot. The emergency crew and fireman tried to revive him but it was too late.
Rumours were suspecting that the actor suffered a heart attack while driving his car. However the possibility of myocardial infarction is low according to reports.

Lee Seung Gi celebrates discharge from army.
Singer/actor Lee Seung Gi celebrates with his fans after a long wait from his military camp.
The singer is finally discharged from army services with a huge group of fans waiting eagerly for him in front of the Chungbuk unit camp. He was able to complete the mandatory services without getting injured and in good care and support from everyone.
He joked around stating he loved the army so much that he wanted to get out of it.
During his service, he mentioned he lived in a haphazard way, imagining a lot of things that he would like to do. He still does not have any ideas, any sense of going to the post office and getting a reserve mark. Now he has to go home to greet his parents. Lee joined the team in February last year and served in the army at the 13th Karate Privilege Brigade.
Lee will start his activities as soon as possible. Already he is signed up for a cable channel tvN's new drama 'Hwa Yoo Gi' and a new film entitled Compatibility.
We are happy to see Seung Gi back in small screen esp. he's very versatile in variety shows.

Kang Daniel's slapstick comedy in Running Man.
In the most recent SBS 'Running Man' program on 29th October, Wanna One's Kang Daniel was invited along with other guests such as Ha Yeon Soo, Jo Se Ho and Noh Sa Yeon for the 'Criminal City' mission.
As soon as Daniel appears, the entire casts and crew immediately gathered at the point where they can't even close the mouths. RM Team was pissed off complaining the writers and other female staffs rushed out to see Daniel. This send Ji Hyo and So Min grinning away giggling that it's the real Kang Daniel...not the fake one where gag man Jo Se Ho appeared previously dancing to the Produce 101 song.
Jae Suk asked due to his busy schedule, it must be tiring for him to come to which he admitted he had only 2-3 hours of sleep a day..awww...poor fella.
With Daniel showing off his dancing skills, Ji Hyo made a big smile by shouting, "The dancing is so cool." From the standpoint of idol senior, Kim Jong Kook advised Daniel this time, he has to be careful of women. Everyone was excited with Daniel's trademark movement- the thigh sweeping dance in Devine Channel's Open Up song during the concept evaluation.
So Min tried imitating the wave dance to which Jae Suk told her to tone down. Kwang Soo, Jong Kook and Se Ho tried copying the thigh sweeping dance which was rather a shocking image to fans out there. Se Ho challenged all that he's good at dancing to where Ha Ha laughed out there is a big rival in the centre! Daniel cracked away when the random play song for Se Ho started off with The Lion Sleeps Tonight! Yeon Soo didn't back down with her cute dance too sending hearts fluttering away for Kwang Soo and Jong Kook. But the main stage meant for our dancing king who could instantly dance to any music and rhythm.
The young singer was rather motivated with the missions given to him, however he failed in all of them. Daniel was given a forehead flick by Se Chan and immediately everyone rushed to check if he was okay but he was laughing away like an innocent child. Ha Ha warned Se Chan that he's doomed and quickly he knelt down pleading forgiveness from Wannable fans. The arm wrestling with Jong Kook took few seconds for Daniel to be flipped down. Jong Kook panicked and Ha Ha told him to go easy on the young singer. Being a Busan local, Daniel doesn't hesitate to exert his satoori ascent by addressing Noh Sa Yeon as Noona instead of sunbaenim....sending her over the moon! She was seen given him hug and encouragement.
The elephant nose turn penalty came; after many spins he couldn't walk straight and swayed dizzily to the left side instead of walking towards Kwang Soo. LOL!
Jae Suk admitted that Daniel is just the same as the rest of them. He might be the centre of Wanna One and most loved trainee in the survival program, but in actual fact he is just typical 'heo-dang' in variety shows. In daze, Daniel said he just wanted to show something different to them but ended up in laughter.
Also, with the final four leg running race game along with Kwang Soo and Se Chan, his tall height and long legs helped but he further solidified his clumsiness. He ran crashing towards the VJ and cameramen who were sitting down filming at them. Instead of recovering his honour, he turned it into some slapstick comedy. Even though he crashed at the crew, he still won the running race.
The last part of the race ended with a psychological quiz show. The winner turns out to be Jae Suk. The 2nd part of mission will be the 3 bosses to determine whether they will share their earnings equally among their members or take it all. Also there will be name tag ripping among the teams for survival.

Sung Hoon in The Sound of Heart new drama.
The Sound of Heart is the new season drama which has confirmed actor/model Sung Hoon in it.
The Sound of Heart is based on the webtoon from South Korea written by author Jo Seok.
It has previously aired the first season starring Lee Kwang Soo and Jung So Min.
Now with Sung Hoon been casted, it seems to be a twist and new expectations from audience.

Sechs Kies 20th Anniversary Concert in 4 major cities.
The first-generation idol group Sechs Kies will begin their journey for their 20th anniversary concerts throughout the country.
According to their agency YG Entertainment, Sechs Kies will perform five times in four cities starting from Gwangju on December 9th, Goyang from 23rd to 24th of the month, Busan on the 30th and Daegu on January 6th.
In September, Sechs Kies have finished his 20th anniversary concert at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. Gocheok Sky Dome is famed for hosting large concerts for celebrities such as EXO and even recently Wanna One.

KBS 2TV Idol Reboot Project or better known as 'THE UNIT' production presentation has its main cast present such as singer Rain, Hwang Chi Yeol, HyunA, SHINee's Taemin, Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun Ah and rapper San-E
"The Unit program is about the dreams of youth. It is difficult to keep up the passion without giving up the dream, but we will make a broadcast that will help us achieve that dream."
CP Han Kyung Chan has announced at the production presentation "The Unit" of KBS 2TV Idol Rebooting project which was held at Times Square Mall at Yeongdeungpo,Seoul on the 25th October 2017.
Idol Reboot Project that has a debut career in the entertainment industry with participants who have not been notified as yet.
On the 29th September, the production crew have conducted three days of public recording and selected 126 people to complete the first batch. Throughout the various missions, viewers of the public will select nine male and nine female singers to serve as The Unit. The debut of the two co-ed teams will be decided at the final stage of the competition.
(FYI- it's quite similar to Produce 101 except it is now a mix of female & male contestants)
JTBC's audition program of 'Mix Nine' will be broad cast at 4:50 pm on the 29th October and 'The Unit' will show its first episode at 9:15 pm on the 28th October 2017.
One CP has emphasised the differentiation from other broadcasting audition programs.
"Even though audition programs like" Mix Nine "have been around in the same time period, the first thing to do was to organise the date of the program, which is not aimed at demonetisation, but to help those who are trying to make a dream. There is a wide audience out there, and there is a difference in that it accommodates the needs of the public. "
One CP also commented on the contracts related to the launch of the idol group, "There were minor players in the cast, and they were very careful during selection. We have guaranteed sleeping rights and learning rights." Minors contestants were also limited during the filming in Chuseok holidays last year. "
PD Park Ji-young also expressed the authenticity of the program.
"I know that there are a lot of audition programs and KBS also does it. I think it is an adventure for myself. I tried to capture the growth and the sympathy of the young and old inspiring idols, rather than just going through votes and evaluation. "
The mentors who will challenge the participants are composed current singers. Singers Rain, Hwang Chi Yeol, HyunA, SHINee's Taemin, Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun Ah, rapper San-E will become advisers to the new idols who are dreaming of of their recovery path.
Rain was not able to attend the production presentation because of the news of his wife Kim Tae Hee delivering a baby girl. PD Park, said, " I have a child too and I would like to congratulate him for becoming a father."
HyunA has commented that Hwang is like a mentor in terms of vocal training to her.
In fact Hwang was a vocal trainer for many idol groups. With his ascent and friendliness, he would be able to listen to the inspiring contestants.
Taemin wanted to provide advice based on his years of experience and to also to convey his know-how about the angle on the stage and on screen.

JTBC's new drama Terms of Romance.
How would a 20-year-old woman feel when she receives a deadline for a main drama?
It seems to be heavy and lonely for some reason. Most of the TV dramas are about the life of the dead and always been surrounded with sadness. However, the new JTBC drama is something new to anticipate.
On 23rd October, a new web drama entitled Terms of Romance 막판로맨스 has released its production presentation at the JTBC building in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul which will bring more bright and refreshing story plot.
The story plot is about a top star Ji Seol Woo and a simpleton girl Baek Se (played by Han Seung Yeon). Baek Se discovered she has time limit when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She decided to stay on her bucket list that is to date the ideal man she loves.
Yoon Dong Jun (played by Lee Seo Won) is an inspiring actor who resembles a lot the top star Ji Seol Woo. Due to a big obstacle in his career life, he decided to undergo plastic surgery to gain confidence. However the surgery costs is a big concern. Baek Se meets Dong Jun coincidentally and signs a dating contract with him. Since she is an orphan, she has to quickly meet her deadline.
Han has mentioned she has not played such role before so it's quite different whereby she tries not to be a tragic heroine but to paint a picture of happiness without losing hope even in a painful reality. Thinking positive and live life to the fullest. Of course there are sad scenes in the drama. Terms of Romance is a romantic comedy genre, especially in the early years, it was supposed to be bright enough to be confused with whether it was a real cancer or a prank.
PD Kim mentioned that drama is a work that deals with the contracted love of cancer patients with a deadline, but the atmosphere of the drama is brilliant. As a web drama,one begins to figure out how to overcome those sufferings and how we end up living our lives.
Lee Seo Won who is currently finishing up MBC drama Hospital Ship comes out to a new role as Yoon Dong Jun. His other roles in The Liar and his Lover, Uncontrollably Fondly and movie Man of Will is certainly gathering interest from the public.
His co-partners in dramas seem to be older and more matured actresses. With Han Seung Yeon, she is 9 years older than him. As for actress Ha Ji Won, it was a big age gap of 19 years between them. He doesn't take into account for the age gap when it comes to acting.
Terms of Romance will start to air via Naver TV everyday for at least 15 minutes until 3rd November.

According to Nielsen Korea, ratings-based survey company on the 23rd October, 'My Golden My Life', which was aired the previous day has recorded 35.0% of the national average ratings, 33.9% in Seoul and 34.8% in the metropolitan area. The highest audience ratings of domestic broadcasting programs this year was 36.5% from its previous drama- 'My Father Is Strange.'

Wanna One's Kang Daniel centre of attention again.
In the recent survey hosted by Excite Density online, the votes came through for Wanna One's Kang Daniel in the first ranking for having the best physical shape. On 23rd October, Daniel topped the list with a total of 15,864 votes (42.7%) out of a total of 37,163 votes.
He was voted first because of his physical body shape- broad shoulders, his long legs stretching him to 180 cm height and good looks.
TVXQ's Yun Ho came second spot with 9485 votes (25.5%), and fellow Wanna One's Ong Seung Woo won 3,355 votes (9.6%).
Kang Daniel's innocent smiley face, expressions and performance mode looks have somehow 'stolen the hearts' of many fans. He won the survival competition beating out 101 contestants. After three months from Wanna One's debut, he is the most talked person in town. His fashion, food he eats and whatever he does is the main centre attention of the public.
Recently he hosted the Busan One Asian Festival driving everyone frenzy. He stepped up on stage wearing different colour contact lens creating a unique mysterious 'werewolf' look.
Even the white cap he wears and donated at the charity sharing market was sold for a whooping KRW$2.4 million by a student fan! Oh-my!

Oh Ji Ho guests in Hello Counsellor.
It has been a while since actor Oh Ji Ho appears in variety programs. This round, the actor has been invited to KBS variety show- Hello Counsellor whereby the public send in their concerns.

Special court room romance begins for a new upcoming drama starring A-Pink's Park Cho Rong, VIXX's Han Sang Hyuk, Kim Min Gyu and Ryu Jin.
The comprehensive production Channel A web drama production meeting was held in the Grand Ballroom of Stanford at Hotel Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 23rd October afternoon. The main casts were all present at the meeting and press conference.

In the recent episode of Island Trio, INFINITE's Sung Gyu shows off his wittiness in gossips and beagle eyed attitude. Sunggyu arrived at Hongdo where emcee Kang Ho Dong is unaware of the guest appearance. He was surprised, laughing out and asked Sunggyu -"Aren't you supposed to be busy?"
Sunggyu replied, "Since you are here, I thought I am not going to show up. When you were hosting Strong Heart, I decided not to appear too. If you were to appear on broadcast, I wouldn't come either. The same goes with Star King program."
Ho Dong smiled awkwardly since Sunggyu admitted honestly if he could avoid him as much as possible. But now Ho Dong has toned down a lot so that's good news. It was great to have someone the same age as Sunggyu in the program since CN BLUE's Jung Yong Hwa is part of the cast. INFINITE and CN BLUE debut at the same time however Sunggyu felt the burden since Yong Hwa is too good looking, he couldn't even look at him. LOL!
However grandpa Sunggyu does whatever he could for Ho Dong including dancing, getting dipped into the water with people applauding for him. The balloon race was initiated by actress Kim Hee Sun with penalties waiting for the loser. The contestants were too intrigued with the game.

Song-Song couple's wedding ceremony singer TBA.
Actor Song Joong Ki is finalizing his wedding ceremony for his upcoming marriage to actress Song Hae Gyo. The Song-Song couple wedding will be the biggest event of the year.
An official of Joong Ki's agency Blossom Entertainment said, "The wedding celebration of the couple was decided and singer Ok Joo Hyun to be the wedding singer."
Other than the celebrity guest lists, the other part is in the final summary. Nothing is affirmed as yet.

Discussions were held for 'Kang Restaurant' whereby members talked about the new program with a pre-meeting. In addition, it is the back door that burned the will for the 'Kang's Restaurant' by tasting various foods in the Korean restaurant.
'Kang Restaurant' is another version of 'Yoon's Restaurant' where emcee Kang Ho Dong and the rest of the cast appear. Kang's Restaurant idea is originated from the members' jokes at the time of 'Journey to the West: Season 4' went on air.
When Yoon's Restaurant gathered a lot of attention, gagman Lee Soo-geun did mention to get rid of it. Muahahah! That's evil of Soo Geun to suggest that.

MNet's Produce 101: Season 1 and Season 2 has attracted so much attention and produced the new syndrome when they went scouting out 101 trainees from various agencies for the public to vote and formed their desired idol group. Produce 101 pays a lot of attention to ranking and most importantly the centre of the group.
The competition show definitely stole the hearts of the fans and viewers on TV to vote for their favourite trainees. So as the song lyrics go- It's Me 나야 나 (Pick Me), you watch them perform- sing, dance and goof around, you ponder then you cast your vote and voila! they become your idol rookie group.
Girl groups I.O.I was created and this year it was frenzy with boy group Wanna One taking over by storm. This year the theme song is sung and known by almost every kid and adult in the country. Several sub units were formed after the competition to ensure the survival of other contestants who failed to get into the final round.
Seeing the success for the survival competitions, KBS has released The Unit program or better known as Idol Reboot Project which scouts singers who failed to debut or become successful. Singer Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) will be hosting The Unit.
JTBC's Mix Nine program has similar concept under collaboration with YG Entertainment's CEO Yang to scout for 400 over contestants. Superstar K program was the first one to kick off scouting most interesting talents in the country in year 2010.
SBS quickly did K-Pop Star with six runs until recent April to find the young talents. Rather than looking at readily produced pop groups by agencies, now the public can freely vote and choose the contestants they like; to form a new group. Though judges comment and critics were taken into account in old survival programs, this era the citizens are the ones determining the overall winner.
The contestants have to work and perform harder in the reality programs to ensure they gained the favour of the public voters. The vocal trainers, producers, judges and critics are there to ensure the contestants perform well- but after all the public and fans will be making the final decision for the audition program.
And will I be watching further on Mix Nine or Idol Reboot Project? It's a possibility I want to see Rain hosting the program. When I looked back at the under rated trainees from Produce 101: S2, I feel there is always another door opened for them in the entertainment biz.

Hallyu group 'BTS' was selected as one of the Most Influential Celebrities on Social Media by American Weekly US Weekly.
US Weekly has posted a list of the most influential celebrities in social media on Tuesday (October 20th), ranking first through fifteen spots.

Kim Jae Won explained that he was in the program 3 years ago and how did his 'killer smile' came to the limelight. He laughed a lot in the past. On 19th October, MBC's drama Hospital Ship airs Episode 31-32 with sweet confession between the two main doctors lead.
Hyun was hospitalised after been shot by the gangsters and starting to recover. Meanwhile Young Eun (Wang Ji Won) plans to return to New York seeing that Hyun has given up on her. She visits Eun Jae and sees Hyun for the last time.

Hyun was annoyed again to see Eun Jae was treating his patients when she hasn't even seen his face at all. He asked her if she ever missed him only to be shot down by a cold answer- No.
Aww...Eun Jae needs to push and pull again after what Hyun has gone through to save her life. Taken back, he asked why isn't she looking straight into his eye. She avoided at any costs.
Eun Jae finds the stethoscope lying on the floor when it was a gift for him. Hyun grabbed her and put the stethoscope on her heart. He commented that her heart beat is out of normal range. He wonders whom her heart beats to? Hyun asked again if she wants to start a relationship.
Flustered, Eun Jae didn't know what to answer. He then insisted that they should start dating. Instead of answering, Eun Jae just smiled brightly while he pulled her in for a big hug.
It was a big crisis as Eun Jae is on the brink to be kicked out from the hospital ship due to financial pressure. They received a notice to remove the surgeon but the crew needed Eun Jae's skills.
Eun Jae feels a bit uncomfortable to have people know that they are going out. The two started texting each other happily. Jae Geol sees he stands no chance to woo Eun Jae and gives up.

D.O, Park Hye Soo tap dance in Swing Kids movie.
The film 'Swing Kids' (director Kang Hyung-chul) completed the main cast including EXO's Do Kyung Soo (D.O) and actress Park Hye Soo for full shooting.

The upcoming trend with the eliminated trainees from Produce 101: Season 2 has spin off another unit group JBJ. JBJ managed to achieve their dreams with final debut with a mini album entitled Fantasy.
JBJ delights viewers and fans with voices and charms from members Roh Tae Hyun, Takada Kenta, Kim Sang Gun, Kim Yong Guk, Kwon Hyun Bin and Kim Dong Han. Of course the favourable trainees during the Produce 101 were Kenta and Hyun Bin.

RAINZ has been featured in KBS2TV Music Bank, MNet countdown, Arirang radio K, and promoting their new MV Juliette. Their first mini album 'Sunshine' has kicked off on music stations and online gaining lots of attention.
Produce 101: S2 has somehow made many trainees debuted in individual projects and units.
Not only the trainees were featured in many variety programs, talk shows and radio, everyone seems to be aware of their existence. The new groups are successful in their own ways, especially they are doing well in promoting themselves to the nation.
I think viewers are starting to pay attention to these trainees who have worked so hard in their lives, well..everyone knows about the popularity of Kang Daniel and Park Ji Hoon since they were the top two, however each trainee has their own colour and charms.
