YG Sechs Kies to release 5th album after 18 years.

First generation idol group Sechs Kies has announced to release a full-length album in 18 years.

According to their agency YG Entertainment on 4th August, Sechs Kies will show their regular 5th album on the 21st September. Their very last full 4th album 'Come Back' was released in 1999 and the members have then gone on separate ways.

This is the first album released after signing a management contract with YG Entertainment which has gained a lot of interest from the public and fans.
In particular, behind the stage leader Eun Ji-won  has recently signed an exclusive contract with YG, actively participates in song work. YG said, "We are directing together.

The five members said, "We are preparing a full album composed entirely of new songs."

Sechs Kies made their debut in 1997 together with H.O.T group.
They then declared a sudden dismissal while leaving many song hits such as 'Couple' and 'Pom Saeng Pom Sa'. Last year the group gained a lot of attention in 16 years with MBC TV program 'Infinite Challenge' that has reunited the members. Since then, the members have signed a contract with YG and has become the current idol of the album '2016 Re-Album' as well as the new song "Three Words" and "Sad Song".

To mark the 20th anniversary of their debut this year, Sechs Kies is presenting a variety of promotions including new album, exhibition, fan meetings, Hawaii video conferences, and special events for the award ceremony. The concert which is the highlight of the 20th anniversary of its debut, will be held on the 23rd September at the Goguryeo Sky Dome in Seoul. Recently they had a open fan meeting at Osaka's Namba Hatch (HATCH) while making full-scale entry into the local market.
