Kim Nam Gil, Kim Ah Joong's Deserving a Name shoots up to rank 2.



tvN weekend drama 'Deserving a Name' starring Kim Nam Gil and Kim Ah Joong has exceeded the audience ratings of 7% and renewed its highest ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 4th September, Deserving a Name drama has recorded 8 times of the previous day, an average of 6.4% and 7.3% on average of paid-for-platform TVs with integrated cable, satellite and IPTV.

The ratings agency TNMS said that the broadcast was ranked second in the non-terrestrial viewership rankings with 4.8% of the highest audience rating (paying households) in four weeks.


Currently the audience ratings skyrocketed to 5.7% at the scene (10:17 pm) when Heo Im (played by Kim Nam-gil) and Doo Chil (played by Oh Dae Hwan) were caught by the rich evil Lord while begging for their lives to be spared. Dr. Choi Yoon Kyung (played by Kim Ah Joong) struggled with adjusting to the life in Joseon dynasty. The mysterious ways of how she and Heo Im travels to and forth from Joseon to Seoul is slowly unfolding. The 2nd time when Heo Im and Yoon Kyung came back to the past after encountering with some soldiers during the Japanese invasion. They saw a wounded a loner warrior who happens to be a Korean but serving Japanese fleet. Heo Im wanted to leave the traitor to die however Yoon Kyung advised that he is just a mere patient to her. 

What raises the question is the loner warrior who is grateful to their help has advised them that the Japanese army will reach Hanyang (Seoul in the past) in 2 weeks time which marks the future of the coming story line. Heo Im has saved the servant girl Mak Gye's life (played by Moon Ga Young). Yoon Kyung escaped from the hands of Yoo Jin Oh and stumbled across Heo Jun (played by Ahn Hyo Seob). 


Heo Im will now have to survive in his world and also in Seoul as the new identity Heo Bong Tak- one of the oriental medicine doctor while facing off his enemies. Deserving a Name is aired every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 pm.
