Moonlight drawn by Clouds rising steadily to 20% with sweet romance.

KBS2TV drama 'Moonlight drawn by Clouds 구르미 그린 달빛 (written by Kim Min Jeong, PD Kim Seong Yun and Baek Sang Hun) is having steady upward trend in its viewers ratings. The drama has rewritten its own history by achieving 20% in ratings this week. 

Audience measurement company Nielsen has recorded on 5th September, the episode showed the audience highest rating at 19.3% and the very last moment it spiked up to 2.9%

Certain areas in Seoul metropolitan area has recorded as high as 21.3% and 20.0%.

Episode 5 has scenes where Crown Prince Lee Young jumps into the lake without hesitation after seeing Ra On (Eunuch Hong) struggling and drowning in the water. It has certainly turn many heads around when he says Ra On is his 'people'- meaning telling Yoon Sung to back off.

The romance is about to begin when the Crown Prince is having love sickness unaware that Ra On is actually a girl. 

Audience were given a teaser preview on next episode 6 where Yoon Sung pulls out a gun towards those who are threatening to reveal Ra On's real identity while Lee Young discovers that his eunuch/friend is actually a female. The Crown Prince goes all out to stop her from being given to the Qing envoy while boldly withdrawing his sword in front of all saying he never had anything taken away from him. Ah.... what a brave and charismatic move! 

We would be expecting slightly more with 2nd female lead Lady Jo Ha Yeon coming into the picture as the future Crown Princess. She meets Lee Young coincidentally at the night of Lantern Festival to whom he just ignored blankly. 

With a big competitor behind their back, SBS drama Scarlet Heart: Ryeo has declined in its viewers ratings at only 5.7%. With the long MBC 50-episode drama Monster concluded at 9.4% on the second place. 

Vocalist Gummy lending her beautiful voice to the OST of the drama has certainly grew the audience leaning more towards the drama. 

The Crown Prince's unexpected movements and antics have certainly tugged many female hearts out there. I was quite surprised when he sneakily shush Ra On up by pushing a medicine ball into her mouth seeing she is having fever aches whole night ...mmm....
