K2 will be written by scriptwriter Jang Hyuk Rin who has written for the SBS drama Yongpal which propelled actor Joo Won and actress Kim Tae Hee to successful limelight.
The drama Reset (2014), Yongpal (2015), were the projects for writer Jang whereby Chuno (Slave Hunters), Our Neighborhood Hero directed by PD Kwak Jung Hwan.
On 14th June, according to cable channel tVN, the two people have gathered and planned to broadcast the new drama 'K2' about a former service guard who then makes use of the daughter of a leading presidential candidate to take revenge on those who have betrayed him. K2 is scheduled to broadcast in July after Jeon Do Yeon's drama The Good Wife.
The last drama Ji starred in was Healer together with Park Min Young and Yoo Ji Tae.
