Descendants of the Sun to broadcast on Feb 24th 2016.

KBS 2TV drama 'Descendants of the Sun 태양의 후예 ' is air its first episode on February 24th 2016. It is one of the drama everyone has been waiting for ever after actor Song Joong Ki's release from military services since last year. 

Descendants of the Sun will start airing after Merchant Gaek Ju finishes its run. It is expected to start its first episode on February 24th. The final schedule was not to be broadcast-ed due to China's deliberations. 

Descendants of the Sun is a melo-drama of a young soldier and a doctor's dreams love and success in a foreign harsh lands. The filming started 6 months ago in overseas.
Secret Garden drama writer Kim Eun Sook and Dream High's PD Lee Wong Bok are part of this drama including the main leads Song Joong Ki (31), Song Hae Gyo (34) and Jin Goo (36). 

Song Joong Ki will be playing as the Elite army ranger Yoo Shi Jin and Song Hae Gyo will play his love interest Doctor Kang Mu Yeon.
