Yeo Jin Goo strives for upcoming Orange Marmalade drama.

Actor Yeo Jin Goo (18) has recently attended a press conference at hotel in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu with his fellow co-stars for the upcoming KBS2 mini series drama- Orange Marmalade which is based on a webtoon. AOA's Seol Hyun (20), CN Blue's Lee Jong Hyun (25), actress Gil Eun Hye (27) and actor Song Jong Ho (39) were present as well. By the look of it, Yeo Jin Goo is the youngest among the casts. Would you believe he has actually grown into a fine young man since we last saw him playing child minor roles since the age of 9 or so.

I remembered seeing him playing small roles such as the younger version of Lee Jun Ki in Iljimae. Then he was in the big hit drama as Kim Soo Hyun's crown Prince in Moon Embracing the Sun and Missing You as Park Yoo Chun's younger version. At the age of 18 with his matured deep voice, he is now playing major roles in films and leading the mini series drama.

Yeo Jin Goo plays the role as a brilliant smart high school student Jung Jae Min in this drama and he meets his first love Baek Mari (played by Seolhyun) who happens to be a vampire hiding her identity. Mari keeps her secret safe and avoids people or contact if possible so that she wouldn't stir any problems. Jae Min who has the brains, looks and manners in the school couldn't understand why Mari avoids him. Since Jae Min is also lonely and cold towards others starts to feel the love for this mysterious girl.

AOA's Seolhyun mentions she also received help and support from Yeo since she's quite a rookie actress. Lee Jong Hyun also praises Yeo for his work.
Watch out for this teenage love series to be aired on KBS2 channel at 10.35pm on 15th May
