On 13th May at Sangam-dong in Seoul in DMS building, there was a press conference whereby the person behind the camera directing- Director Na Yeong Suk (famous for his 1 Night 2 Days) introduced the new program- Three Meals Choice instead of Three Meals a Day. There will be seeds planted in order for it to bloom well in spring, harvesting the fruits or vege, enjoying the meals during summer to show the joy of hard work been paid off.
The will be a long term project compared to the previous ones. Last October, the directors and crew were busy looking for men who could fit well on the camera and enjoying living in nature.
Writer Kim Dae Ju said the highlight would be the meals. It is his description of "the most consistent of the season in the degree of planning". He also warned that "those who wanted to come and go in the rural will be able to see all the romance and fantasy."
Three Meals Choice will now feature actor Kim Kwang Gyu who also starred in Wonderful Days drama. The regular casts include actor Lee Seo Jin and idol Ok Taecyeon. This new episode will be farming and shortage of man power but is expected to bring lots of smile to the audience. That's right, the equivalent of a spring 3300㎡ field to be planted with corn. In addition prickly Seojinnie will be sleeping and planting potatoes, Tacyeon planting melons and lemons while trying to invent lemon soju! (Rather nonsense! Haha!). The men will be forbidden to buy food in town, unlike the last season.
Last season was the growth and relationship of the mascot dog Minki and Jackson- the goat. These two mascots deserved well attention from everyone. After giving birth, Jackson has died so leaving Minki as the main mascot. There will be closer and friendlier relationship of adolescent Minki with Taecyeon.
The first broadcast of this new season will be on 15th May 2015 at 21.45 pm.
