Hollywood's movie Magnificent Seven casts in Lee Byung Hun

Looks like lately Korean stars are indeed entering the US Market for movies. Claudia Kim (Kim Soo Hyun) nailed it through with her breakthrough performance in Avengers 2 which is proving to be a popular movie worldwide ever it has been released. Though her role was small but some scenes of the movie was shot in Seoul.

Ever since Lee Byung Hun appeared in G.J Joe sequels, he is now been casted as Billy Rock in the upcoming movie The Magnificent Seven. Since 2009, Lee has advanced himself from Seoul to US with G.I Joe sequels. In 2013, he appeared in RED2. And for this year his upcoming flick Terminator: Genesis is due to screen in cinemas on July 1st. For next year he is possibly casted to star in Rush Hour 4

The 1960's version of Magnificent Seven has the roles of Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn and Robert Vaughn as a group of disparate gunmen. They come together to protect a Mexican village from bandits led by Eli Wallach. This movie then dispersed to a number of sequels as well as TV series. The new film version has changed a bit of its storyline where it features a victimized mining town, taken over by a gold baron, rather than the Mexican village.

Other big actors such as Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, Chris Pratt and Haley Bennett are on the lists to star in this new film version directed by Antoine Fuqua.

So wife Lee Min Jung will be busy caring for her newborn baby while hubby is busy making money in Hollywood to feed the entire family. Nothing seems to stop this man from entering the US market to film big blockbusters even after his scandals. Mmm... let's hope he is now a changed man after becoming a dad.
