KBS Drama Awards 2014 List of Winners

Happy Days for the casts of KBS family weekend drama- What's With the Family? when veteran actor Yoo Dong Geun took home the Dae-Sang (Grand Award) for year 2014! Indeed I so agree that this man should win. The role he portrayed so well as Cha Soon Bong- the tofu seller with 3 ignorant kids (Kim Hyun Ju, Yoon Park and Park Hyung Sik) who ignore him when he is well and alive. We have the pretty Kim Hyun Ju as the eldest daughter who doesn't seem to age at all and looking radiant. Seo Kang Jun looking cutie as usual with the fellow actress Nam Ji Hyun and ZE:A's Park Hyung Sik in black suits.
Yoo gave a great speech on how to spend more time and respect each other with your family members. I guess that's what is all about in the weekend drama- to cherish, love and spend more time with your family.

co-actress for she is getting married this year 2015. Cool! :)

Surprisingly the recent drama 'Healer' has snapped few awards for Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young. I find the drama interesting and cool so it definitely deserves some awards. The same goes to Joseon Gunman for our coolie Lee Jun Ki and the bride to be Nam Sang Mi.

Didn't quite get it how the drama Discovery of Love won so many awards- it was quite an unexpected drama with boring storyline and poor acting. Anyway I am glad that the rookie awards were given to Seo In Guk from King's Face- he has done well for himself. And our dear Dalbong and Seo Wool won the rookie awards with couple award too. 

Park Hyung Sik and Nam Ji Hyun performed a duet 'Some' made famous from Sistar's So You and Jung Gi Go- which was poorly sung by Ji Hyun due to her shaky nervous voice compared to Hyung Sik who sings most of the time with ZE:A group. 

Not to forget, Joo Won presented the Lifetime Achievement Award for the late actress Kim Ja Ok who passed away from cancer. He did a moving speech on how he respected the late actress so much and called her 'Mom' during their collaboration drama together on KBS's drama Ojakyo Brothers. Quite a sad scene as Yoo Dong Geun nodded his head and some actresses were seen wiping their tears too.
